“The key is changing our habits and
in particular, the habits of our mind”
Suppose you could access a very powerful source within your mind?
That is the subconscious mind.
Hypnotherapy is a super concentration of the mind, inducing an altered state of consciousness where we can explore the deeper levels of the subconscious that drive our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
It may seem that many of our choices in life are made by our logical conscious mind, however they are actually being driven by the beliefs within the subconscious mind.
For instance, assuming you would like to overcome an addiction but at the same time have a belief at the subconscious level that it will be very difficult to overcome the addiction and stay free from it. If this is your subconscious thought than there is a very high chance you will not be able to stay free from the substance you are trying to overcome.
The subconscious belief can completely undermine your conscious mind no matter how much will power you apply.
Subconscious desires will win every time.
We often respond to our subconscious urges and drives with little awareness of the source of these promptings. Hypnotherapy is an effective technique in breaking through the subconscious controls of our mind and accessing our inner resources so as we can make the needed changes in resolving unwanted behaviour patterns.
Hypnotherapy works on three levels:
- Discovering the subconscious drives of irrational beliefs and/or behaviour
- Understanding the source of these subconscious beliefs
- Changing our reponse to these subconscious beliefs and/or developing more acceptable beliefs.
With Hypnotherapy and visualisation techniques, we can begin to change the brains neuron pathways. Scientists at the frontier of brain science have recently discovered that the human brain can change itself.
They began to call this fundamental brain property “neuroplasticity”. Neuron is for “neuron” the nerve cells in our brains and nervous system. Plastic is for “changeable, malleable, modifiable”.
With the right techniques and thoughts processes humans can rewire their brains.
Our brain has tremendous capacity for recovery, repair and change.
